She's a happy sick girl
Adeline has been sick. She has an ear infection, and a nasty barking cough. She is starting to sound a bit better. She was loosing her voice. So, if she cried or tried to coo her voice was gone.It was so sad to hear her try to tell me she was happy by babbling, or trying to scream because she wanted my attention now and for her not to be able to get it out was sad. She is so stubborn when we try to give her medicine. She pierces her lips together, moves her head back and forth, and tries to swat you with her hands while her feet are kicking. I know some kids like it but to say she doesn't like it is an understatement. Having a sick child is scary. It makes me worry a lot. I remember the first time she was sick. When I took her to the Dr. she was congested, and had a cold but couldn't have anything for it. I felt so sad that my little infant was sick. I was upset with myself because I wasn't sure how she had got it.

Addie looks darling even when she is sick. Hope she is feeling better soon...we can't wait to see you guys on Sunday.
Hsving a sick baby's the worst :(. I hope she feels better soon and I think she is a little cutie even though she's not feeling well.
Ah, poor little thing. I hate it when my kids are sick. I still worry myself to death about it - think the worst - check on them a zillion times. The saddest is when they wake up in the morning with dry boogers plastered to their face. :) One good thing is as they get older (at least for my boys) they LOVE to have medicine. It's like a treat.
She really is adorable. So are you not working? I bet that is nice. How did that all work out? Well, I am teaching at Joseph Bonnheim in Sac City district. I am teaching a Kinder/ 1st split class and it keeps me BUSY!!! But, life really is good. The branch is doing well and we are having fun. She is so cute!!!
Oh sickness sucks! She still looks beautiful though! Your mom got married? Have you met him yet? That's cool, we need to actually talk one of these days, miss ya oh and happy birthday yesterday! We are getting old. I just barely got used to 26!
