Christmas

Addie... while we're getting our family photo taken (complete meltdown)

We had to wake Addie up at 8:30. She was so funny she was most interested in her stocking (i thought we'd do that last, but she not only was interested in hers but everyones). We finally go her interested in the gifts. She was super excited once we got started.

Christmas Eve

We went to my in-laws for Christmas Eve. My mom and her husband were able to come too. Carol made everything very special. I only ended up with three photos.

Christmas Traditions

The Nativity- My favorite part was once Mary and Joseph were dressed Joseph (Carson) says to Mary (Addie). Lets go kill some people. Classic! Addie went right along with it. The kids were so cute thanks Beth for inviting us!

We also love decorating the tree and making a gingerbread house. Don't forget the new elf Alfie- (funny thing now that Christmas is over she's still blaming everything on the elf) he reports behavior to santa, and comes back hiding a new place each day.

Christmas @ PreSchool

At Addie's school they did a Christmas program. They sang four songs, and did some crafts, had treats. She was so interested in Santa. However, she did not want to sit on his lap ... standing next to him was good enough (no tears were shed this year)! My favorite part was seeing how excited the kids were. Now she loves to watch herself sing on the videos. The other funny thing was before the party we were listening to Christmas music rudolph came on and she was in the living room dancing and singing (she had some nice moves I said where did you learn that she said miss sue). She had her hands on her hips going back from side to side while singing.

Dear Joshua,

We are so happy you are here with our family. I always want to remember some silly things about being pregnant with you. I was so sick early on every morning before school yucky! I craved pickles, ate skor bars, chomped on ice and chewed gum (like a cigarette smoker) when the doc said lay off the sweets. They were worried about there being too much fluid and nervous I might go into pre-term labor. They also told me there could possibly be something wrong with your esophagus. But they wouldn't know until you were born. If it was a problem then you were going to have to have open chest surgery immediately because you wouldn't be able to eat.

Throughout the entire pregnancy I felt very peaceful, and excited for you to join our family. I wasn't sure everything was going to be exactly as I wanted it but I felt confident it would be okay. We all loved you so much even before you arrived. Addie would constantly want to hug my belly show my bare belly to everyone.

Now that you are here we all love you so much. You are the nicest baby. However, you were so big it was not so nice getting you into this world. Things I don't want to forget: balloon catheter yikes, my bottom feeling like it was going to explode. Pushing for three hours, and not feeling like I'd made any progress. Sweet nurse and anaesthesiologist. It took forever went in to be induced at 6 am on the first had you at 1:58 am on the second.

We are so glad you are here. Addie loves to give you kisses and hugs. She calls you her cuddle bug. I love to watch you. You have been such a sweet baby. Very mellow, but you get really upset when you're ready to eat sometimes you snort if we don't hurry fast enough. You seem so calm, little and fragile.

The Thanksgiving Feast

Addie playing the drums at pre-school each child stood & said what they were thankful for.
Miss Sue: Addie what are you thankful for pause your parent
Addie: NO
Miss Sue: Denise pause
Addie: Books!
She was hilarious while they were drumming she also started doing ah ah and patting her mouth. She loves Indians.... I think because she likes Peter Pan so much. She'll always pretend she's Wendy, and give all of her friends a part too.

Sri & Addie at the Feast they made these sweet little placemats

Addie eating her food

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. But have no photos from that day. We woke up, and had some friends over for a Turkey Bowl breakfast (Tim's team did win the championship- we were all excited about that).  We went to see the muppets, and had a yummy feast cooked by Honey Baked Ham store (waited in line forever to pick that thing up) We have to have ham and turkey. Then all the sides were ordered from Mimi's Cafe. I am lame! I wanted to stay at home to relax, but I didn't feel up to cooking. Looking forward in a few years to cooking my own feast.  But for now we enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving.

Trunk or Treat

Addie & her friend Melanie (from pre-school)

We had so much fun... Addie decided on a cheerleader (we bought a Rapunzel costume). Today she's going to Tim's families party as an ice skate princess (she made it up I'll post photos later on). But she loved doing her cheers, and I think her favorite thing was getting her face painted.

(Addie was upset at first & then she thought it was the funniest thing ever)
Having FHE with George on sharing
The class pet at Addie's school is curious George. She tells me daily who got to take him home, and then she tries to guess and ask me who do you think will get him tomorrow. So, Thursday it was her turn she was so excited to tell me that it was finally her turn. What an exciting weekend we've had with George. She was really cute when we did the write up. She was telling me about everything that happened. Mom he went into the laundry twice (I washed him twice he didn't seem clean after the first wash now he's much better). We thought we had lost him for reals on Saturday. Addie carried him in (we thought from the car) she had dropped him or hid him and forgot. We went to search in the garage, and she went right to him and was laughing mom George was hiding. It was fun to see her light up about having this stuffed animal with us for the weekend. Funniest part she loves this little boy Prneeth in her class, and she kept turning to the page where his photos were with George. She slept with George, and the book. It was a really special weekend.

We did a murder mystery dinner. Everyone had a part, and acted as that person. It was really a lot of fun. We guessed incorrectly, but had a great time! Thanks Erica:)

Apple Hill Field Trip

Tim took Addie to the Apple Hill field trip. They went on a hay ride... ate lots of yummy apple treats, and had a presentation from fanny pack guy on seeds growing (Tim said the guy was kind of strange).

Sharing at Preschool

She had her second time sharing at preschool, and she wanted to take her magnetic ice creams. She told them that she brought her magnetic ice cream, and she would show them how it works. She says magnetic so cute. She loves to pretend we are playing school, and she will say okay mom it's your turn to share today what did you bring.
