Dear Joshua,
We are so happy you are here with our family. I always want to remember some silly things about being pregnant with you. I was so sick early on every morning before school yucky! I craved pickles, ate skor bars, chomped on ice and chewed gum (like a cigarette smoker) when the doc said lay off the sweets. They were worried about there being too much fluid and nervous I might go into pre-term labor. They also told me there could possibly be something wrong with your esophagus. But they wouldn't know until you were born. If it was a problem then you were going to have to have open chest surgery immediately because you wouldn't be able to eat.
Throughout the entire pregnancy I felt very peaceful, and excited for you to join our family. I wasn't sure everything was going to be exactly as I wanted it but I felt confident it would be okay. We all loved you so much even before you arrived. Addie would constantly want to hug my belly show my bare belly to everyone.
Now that you are here we all love you so much. You are the nicest baby. However, you were so big it was not so nice getting you into this world. Things I don't want to forget: balloon catheter yikes, my bottom feeling like it was going to explode. Pushing for three hours, and not feeling like I'd made any progress. Sweet nurse and anaesthesiologist. It took forever went in to be induced at 6 am on the first had you at 1:58 am on the second.
We are so glad you are here. Addie loves to give you kisses and hugs. She calls you her cuddle bug. I love to watch you. You have been such a sweet baby. Very mellow, but you get really upset when you're ready to eat sometimes you snort if we don't hurry fast enough. You seem so calm, little and fragile.

He's darling! Noah was the exact same weight. It's a workout to birth these big babies! Hope all is well for you and your sweet guy.
Yeah! I'm so happpy he's here safe and sound. That doesn't sound like a great labor experience but its great that you're still finding the positive throughout it. That's terrible though that you were having to think about his health throughout his entire pregnancy but I'm glad it wasn't the case! Congratulations to your whole family! You guys deserve to have a happy, easy little boy. :)
He is so sweet. I love him to pieces1
Nicole, CONGRATULATIONS! He is so darling and fat! :) Just love those chubby cheeks. So glad that he's a good little baby and that everything is well.
Congratulations, I am so happy for you! What a sweet little guy. Big babies eat a lot. But are so cute! My "little" guy was 9 pounds 14 oz. I hope you are recoving well and getting some sleep. Love, Terra
