Waving Bye Bye

Check out how cute she is... I hope it lasts. I was feeding her dinner, and waved at her and said bye bye. Next thing I know she's waving back at me. I called for Tim. He couldn't believe it. He said, "Wow she's a sponge!" Then I grabbed the camera.

Dangerous

Since yesterday Adeline can now pull herself up. Last night she was playing with a basket of toys having fun, and I look over and see her standing up. She's adorable I love her determination. Then today everything is different she is dangerous because she wants to pull herself up and stand. However, she's still a little tipsy. Tonight I started her bath had her on the floor, and when I looked up she was standing up ready to get in. While I was in shock because not only did she stand up she went up a step, and was standing up looking in the tub. What happened to my baby... she's becoming such a big girl. She really wants to do everything.

Adeline's First Easter

My favorite memories of Adeline's first Easter are: watching her in the grass with all of her cousins. Addie's our little character full of sour faces. She was just simply a princess today. Easter really is such a special day. It was fun being in on Tim's lesson today. He teaches the 7 year olds turning 8, and they were so funny. They loved every little thing she did. When I say loved they were just so cute. She touched my shoe. She ate the paper Sister Thompson... which she really did do she's so quick. We had such a fun time at the Herlehy's after church. The food was delicious. We had a fun Easter Egg Hunt she liked chewing on them and the basket. It was fun to spend time with family and friends in the nice weather. Tim said she was a winer today.

Happy Easter

Santa Cruz

Addie's first road trip, and first trip to the beach. She absolutely loved watching the water, and playing in and eating the sand. I know bad Addie. She'd catch me off guard, and then I'd catch her shoveling the sand in. She was amazed taking everything. She was wonderful in the car on the way there. She mostly slept. We got there had a BBQ. Then we let her discover the sand. She ate it up. We then went for a walk along the beach. After that we went to get a funnel cake, and shaved ice. Yummy! On the way home the drive was a bit more difficult. She didn't fall sleep very long. She screamed when the sun was in her eyes, she was exhausted, and sick of her seat. We hit a little traffic, and that was not good... it's always better when the car is moving for our little angle.  However, she loved wagon wheels... they saved the day. When we made it home we were all really happy. Adeline loves being at home. She is extra happy at home. What a fun day.

7 Months Old

Adeline is growing into such a little girl. She is at a super fun stage. She can scoot all around, and she's much happier now that she can do that. Now she wants to stand up. She loves books.   She said ma ma first, but when Tim got sick we worked doubled time on da da. She had it down a couple days later, and hasn't stopped saying it. She has gone on a da da rampage. Now she only says ma ma when she's winey, or tired.

She is still a tough one to get to laugh. However, it seems that Tim and his family are the most successful. Especially William she is so interested in him. She tends to cry when Great Grandpa Buhler talks to her. She loves watching kids play especially her cousins. She loves being at my sisters, and watching the boys. I think she loves being around people. I also thinks she likes it when there's a lot going on. She loves going for walks, and laying on the grass. She also likes the wood chips, but I have to watch her she likes to eat them.

She loves when you blow on her belly. She likes your undivided attention. Everyone still agrees she looks like her dad. My sister and Mark said Jackie isn't Tim's twin Addie is. She has his personality, and looks just like him. My sister can't get Adeline to laugh.  I really do think she has Tim's personality she's pretty calm, but she can get angry. She likes her little movies. She eats carrots, sweet potatoes, and today we're trying yellow squash. I've been making it, and it has been super easy and very cost friendly.

She's so happy when she wakes up. I love her big smiles she gives. She drinks from a sippy cup. Still will not take a bottle. She stopped at four months, and has refused ever since. She hasn't take a pacifier since she was about three weeks old. She started refusing it. She's a bit stubborn. I am not sure where that comes from. So to sum her little personality up she's happy, calm, stubborn, curious, loving, and spontaneous. We sure do love her!

Conference

Adeline was amazed by the Choir at conference, and when President  Monson spoke. She's so small and she already gets it... amazing. I love her eyes. She would just stop what ever she was doing and watch.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Tim at Mercy Folsom Hospital

Poor Tim had been complaining about calf pains about a month ago. He had an ultra sound and they found nothing (he thought he had a blood clot). Well he started having shortness of breath, and was coughing up blood. We checked Web Md, and it said it could possibly be a blood clot in the lungs. So, we called his mom whose an advice nurse. She said nothing was wrong, and then Tim told her she'd be sorry if he was dead the next morning. He is a bit of a complainer when it comes to pain so I didn't take him seriously until he coughed up blood. However, he wanted to go play basketball. So I tried to figure out how much pain he was in, and told him that if he was really sick not to go play basketball but go get checked out. He went play basketball got home and was in major pain. I was fast asleep. I guess during the night I told him to stop moving around when he was in extreme pain, and trying to get comfortable.

Next thing I know he's telling me he's going to the ER at 3:30 AM. So, I tell him make sure you go to the right hospital. ER visits can be expensive, and even more so if you go to the wrong one is what I was thinking.  He's been very healthy... so we haven't used the insurance. I didn't think he was really in much pain. I went right back to sleep. He calls me at 7 AM and says, "Nicole I am really sick." Then he says he's going to throw up so he's got to go. Hmm Now I'm curious what should I do. I take Adeline to Beth's and go to the hospital. I hadn't called anyone because I didn't want Tim to be embarrassed when the Dr.'s said nothing was wrong. His sister called, and so I let her in on everything (she's a nurse). She didn't actually think Tim had anything wrong with him either she said oh he has some mystery pain.

Then the Dr. comes in and says okay we figured out what is causing you so much pain... you have three small blood clots in your lungs, and we found on the EKG you have a heart problem as well called WPW. Now I am bit shocked to say the least. To sum everything up Tim was in the hospital for 5 days. He is no longer going to be able to play basketball or other contact sports. He also can't have any caffeine. However, he's alive which we are grateful for. We all felt pretty bad for not believed him, and I am so glad he knew his body and got checked out. We still have lots to figure out, but he's home and doing well. The worst part right now is he's had this horrible allergic reaction and has an itchy rash all over. He takes Bennadryl for it and it nocks him out. We are so glad he's home now. I promise I will take him more seriously even is he is a complainer.
