New Tricks

No treats for this kind of tricks. Why do kids like to do this so much?

Rain Rain Go Away

I made cupcakes for Tim's primary class. Adeline just couldn't get enough of them. She actually became a bit obsessed if she saw one. She wanted it ... demanded it and then had a tantrum.

I loved this smile!
What to do on a rainy day? We play with balloons.
She loves my boots. She wanted them on so much. So, we put them on... then she wanted them off. Right after I took them off she wanted them on. This went on for a while. She looked so funny, and I was laughing so hard.

Hi Mom

My new favorite thing is that Adeline will come up to me multiple times a day and say "Hi mom!" Sometimes she'll run away, and then come back real quick, and say it again. In the sweetest little voice.

Big Girl Bed

The week before Christmas Adeline climbed out of her crib. It was just earlier in the week she had learned to open doors. One night she climbed out of her crib, and then opened her door to get out of her room. So, now she sleeps in this bed. I don't really like it. It makes it seem like she's a big girl to me.

Shows

This is what she looks like watching a show

My Escapee

As soon as I get her hooded towel on after her bath she runs so fast, and gets so excited. It's like the towel is a super woman cape. It cracks me up. If the towel comes off she wants it back on right away. She seriously makes me laugh how she looks tramping around in her towel. Perhaps I shouldn't allow this kind of behavior, but it's kind of entertaining to see her take off so fast.

We went to the River House, and spent it with Tim's family. He had to work until 11 PM, but stopped by for a bit on his lunch, or dinner break. We're not the biggest fans of the knew schedule. Anywho it was really fun. Good fun, good food, and family.

My Pet Monkey

Got loose, and this is what happened. She is an animal. So, the other new thing is she decided to climb out of her crib on Monday. YIKES! We're now trying to get her use to sleeping in a toddler bed . I don't know why, but for me sleep has been a really hard thing. When she was small for a while we didn't know what to do, and now she's climbing out of the crib way to early. Her doctor said she is very coordinated, and strong willed. I am in trouble. I feel for her nursery leaders.

Grandma's Stay

We were able to make some special memories with my mom while she visited. We went to this cool museum in Stockton. I got lost in this really awful area. It was just me and Adeline, and then some creepy people walking up to my car while I was stopped at a stop sign... that was a little stressful.
Adeline checking out the meat
Parker and Tanner playing at the water table
Adeline and Carson shopping
Grandma and Adeline driving in the helicopter

We also went to the Bounce place. It stressed Carson out (my sister's youngest). We didn't stay long. But there were a few highlights. Adeline loved all of it, and was very much a dare devil.

Tanner giving Adeline a boost
Inside the bounce house she loved it
Ready to go down the big slide
This is the guy that stressed Carson out... he talked about him for a day or so... Funny thing in the pic. Parker is thinking it is the funniest thing ever because his is slapping this guys behind. A few moments later he goes to slap it, and falls out of the bounce thing.

We also did a family gift exchange for Christmas, and had a really fun dinner. It was super fun. I had so much fun while she was here I just wish I'd taken more photos.

Maybe Next Year

She wasn't too happy about meeting santa maybe next year... it probably looks really bad I am laughing while she is terrified and screaming.
She liked Mrs. Clause
Happy right before we left... if we ask what does santa say she says ho ho ho

Face Paint

Tim's work had a party... There were so many people there. Adeline would cruise through all of them. They had a skilled face painter check it out. What you can't see is she even painted a little butterfly thing on her hand. She liked that a lot. The balloons were a huge hit the Addie, and I won a throw blanket. I usually have the worst luck so that was cool. I almost forgot she LOVED the candy cane (peppermint flavor) I wasn't sure if she'd like it. To say she liked it was an understatement. She was going through the wrapper. She ate a whole one.

My Favorite Things

1. How excited she is to see her dad every day
2. It is my FAVORITE when Adeline will plop right down in my lap.
She usually brings a book, and just plops right down.

Road Trip to the SLC

Sorry the photos are all out of order. On the beginning of our journey to Utah ... too funny I bought some cheetohs that were color changing they made us all black. Adeline was a trooper. She slept most of the way just waking when we stopped. We arrived at 4 AM Utah time. I told my aunt we'd be there at the latest 10 AM. They had no idea we'd be getting in this early. They didn't hear the phone, or the door bell. So, I called my mom and she told me a way to sneak through a back door. We did, and when I went to tell them we arrived they didn't wake. They didn't find out we arrived until the next morning. Luckily we didn't scare them.
My Grandma and Adeline

My Uncle Richard and Adeline
Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving was wonderful. My aunt Linda made things very special. We have a tradition where you get a ornament at Thanksgiving. So, at your place setting was an ornament with your name on it. Tim got to try my aunt Donna's famous pies. He loved it. Adeline was a rascal. I left her shoes in Cali. so the first day she was itching to run in the snow (the little there was) but she didn't get to.
She loved the cranberry jello salad MESSY
The Christmas lights at Temple Square
Adeline in the snow for the first time... She says snow so cute.
Leaving Feeding the ducks
Feeding the ducks

The next day we did a little shopping, fed some ducks. Adeline LOVED this, and threw a huge fit when it was time to go. We then went to a children's museum at the Gateway. The first part was called the beehives nest. There were bins to gather balls and then put them in all kinds of chutes. We couldn't get her to leave, and when we did leave she kept running back to the balls. There was a house to play house in. A supermarket to shop in. She loved pretending. There was also a farm and a water station down stairs. Upstairs was a reading section, science and then media.

That night we went to see the lights at temple square. Adeline kept saying wow, and temple. She was pointing at the temple the whole night saying oh wow. Then it was a treat that my good friend Kristen could meet us there. We grabbed some hot chocolate so the native Californian could make it through the cold night of light seeing.

Look carefully at Tim's glasses

Next day I saw three friends. It was fun to have a chance to visit, and see their cute kids. I had to post both photos because Amber was popping up in one and she didn't like that one, but I didn't realize Kaitlan was closing her eyes in the other one.

Then I went with my grandma, and we had dinner at my favorite local pizza place. Adeline loved the orange whip drink. We then went on a drive together. When we got back to my grandmas Adeline was attacking her tree. So, my grandma knew what to do she grabbed a cookie and fed it to her. She slowed down for two seconds.
