Road Trip to the SLC

Sorry the photos are all out of order. On the beginning of our journey to Utah ... too funny I bought some cheetohs that were color changing they made us all black. Adeline was a trooper. She slept most of the way just waking when we stopped. We arrived at 4 AM Utah time. I told my aunt we'd be there at the latest 10 AM. They had no idea we'd be getting in this early. They didn't hear the phone, or the door bell. So, I called my mom and she told me a way to sneak through a back door. We did, and when I went to tell them we arrived they didn't wake. They didn't find out we arrived until the next morning. Luckily we didn't scare them.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving was wonderful. My aunt Linda made things very special. We have a tradition where you get a ornament at Thanksgiving. So, at your place setting was an ornament with your name on it. Tim got to try my aunt Donna's famous pies. He loved it. Adeline was a rascal. I left her shoes in Cali. so the first day she was itching to run in the snow (the little there was) but she didn't get to.
She loved the cranberry jello salad MESSY
The Christmas lights at Temple Square
Adeline in the snow for the first time... She says snow so cute.
Leaving Feeding the ducks
Feeding the ducks

The next day we did a little shopping, fed some ducks. Adeline LOVED this, and threw a huge fit when it was time to go. We then went to a children's museum at the Gateway. The first part was called the beehives nest. There were bins to gather balls and then put them in all kinds of chutes. We couldn't get her to leave, and when we did leave she kept running back to the balls. There was a house to play house in. A supermarket to shop in. She loved pretending. There was also a farm and a water station down stairs. Upstairs was a reading section, science and then media.

That night we went to see the lights at temple square. Adeline kept saying wow, and temple. She was pointing at the temple the whole night saying oh wow. Then it was a treat that my good friend Kristen could meet us there. We grabbed some hot chocolate so the native Californian could make it through the cold night of light seeing.

Look carefully at Tim's glasses

Next day I saw three friends. It was fun to have a chance to visit, and see their cute kids. I had to post both photos because Amber was popping up in one and she didn't like that one, but I didn't realize Kaitlan was closing her eyes in the other one.

Then I went with my grandma, and we had dinner at my favorite local pizza place. Adeline loved the orange whip drink. We then went on a drive together. When we got back to my grandmas Adeline was attacking her tree. So, my grandma knew what to do she grabbed a cookie and fed it to her. She slowed down for two seconds.
