Life is Busy

Josh kept asking what is this about the hat
 show me the money
this is how she eats ~& she'll do that when I change her
Addie loved this old school typewriter.
She made several friends who delivered the mail to her, & she'd do her thing with the mail on the typewriter. Then the other kids would pick it up. She was totally in the zone, and it seemed she had her worker bees lined up.
This excavator was heavy, & that made it hard for this 2 yr old (who is always mistaken for being older) I think it's because he talks really well. He knows lots of words, & his speech is very clear. Even though it was heavy he was determined to do it.
She is just always happy doing whatever
She is loving to pull herself up & stand.

From the moment we walked into busy kids- Josh had his eye set on this mower.
It kind of made me laugh because we have one at home. This place was hopping...it actually took the kids 10 or 15 minutes to warm up because it was sooo jammed packed. It wasn't until the second hour we were there that he spotted the mower unattended, and when he did he was happy happy happy. After he got home he was still talking about some girl who took the mower away. When I asked how he got it back, & what happened he said, "I got it back."

Nanny's 79th birthday at Farrell's Ice Cream
Josh looked so cute walking in with great grandpa
The whole clan that night
Nora was well fed & taken care of by these ladies
She was a chocolaty sticky mess at the end of it all

Nanny: they said she was such a sweet lady it was giving them a toothache
& sand do wa diddy diddy dum diddy dee

A good day ends with a story!
Both kids were a bit of a hot mess. Addie did not want her photo taken. She looked so cute she had grabbed a huge pillow to prop her legs up & a blanket. Josh wanted to get in on it too. They were all hopped up tickling each other. Addie kept trying to take Josh's ball away. He said, "I'll throw it at your face." He's a real sweetheart usually, and then you get a duzy out of him.

This only show a portion of our day. But literally the days are packed full of fun and frustration! Usually the day starts at 6 or shortly after because the summer sun rises then, & that's when Josh likes to get up no matter what time he's put to bed. Nora sleeps later than Josh & Addie half of the time. If Addie has the chance she seems to like to sleep in too. So, the day starts early: breakfast, get everyone dressed, basketball, books, puzzles, bike rides this all can and does happen before 9 am. Nora naps around 9. I get everything cleaned up. Do some laundry. Get some school work done...try to play some more games. By 11:00 run errands, go swimming, to the park or on a field trip. 1:00 naps-2:30 or 3. Try to make dinner. snuggle those babies after naps always one of my favorite parts of the day. Dance a little do a science project, watch one more show. Play in the back yard hitting some baseballs, shoot some soccer goals. Try to make sure Nora doesn't eat too many rocks. She loves to sneak into the dirt. Then happy hour when dad gets home around 6:30 or 7. Another day in paradise.

November 2013

Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner at the River House. Adrian smoked a delicious turkey. Scott is getting ready to leave for boot camp. So, everyone was together one last time. Kids had fun playing together. Nora is all swaddled up feeling cozy.
Turkey Treats we made with our friends the Chavez's

School Thanksgiving dinner. The kids were suppose to bring an item of their choice that is a family tradition. Addie wanted me to make 10 layer rainbow jello. The entire time at the feast she kept asking when is it time for jello. I had brought Josh and Nora. Josh was running around like a crazy man.

We headed where things are bigger & better for Thanksgiving. Texas was good to us. However, we had a homealone experience where our alarms didn't go off. We left an hour late. Tim backed into his car & broke the mirror off. They let me on the flight to save seats then kicked us off. Never again will I not be the first to do online check in BOO! They had overbooked the flight. I cried... I was sure there was someone better to kick off that flight. We made some $ because of it. When we finally got on our flight; the flight was just getting in the air. I was holding Nora, and Addie says, "Mom my tummy feels sick." Then she threw up... luckily there was a tender mercy (one of my young women was in the 3rd seat) She totally helped me clean Addie up. Kids did great on the flight. Once we got to Texas we barley made it by the way. When we stopped down in Amarillo there was snow, & they kept de-icing the plane I didn't think we were going to make it. Oh yeah & I had to have a middle seat with Nora in between two of the nicest guys. They loved Nora... because she is the nicest baby ever. She did not make one peep. I was so nervous being in the middle these guys were big & when I first sat down they didn't seem friendly. The second day we were there we stayed in a big storm came in. We took Addie to the American Doll store she was thrilled. Josh got to go to this cool place where they had lots of trains set up. He was so loud squeeling with delight. Thanksgiving was fun & my sister made delicious food. The boys were so nice to do art with Addie. I think she used all the paper in the house. Josh was upset when the boys would play defense on him in basketball. He kept yelling at them to lower the hoop too. We played some fun games. The littles watched a fun christmas show. We had a family friend Lauren come over for dinner. OH and Tim's identity got stollen. We were hit by the target scammers.

November 2013

November 3rd
Addie:
Lately a bit of naughtiness: a while back she covered the bottom of one of Tim's shoes with lipstick. He had no idea put it on walked on the wood floor, and it the floor was coated in bright pink greasy lipstick. It took a while to clean up. She will hide food she doesn't want to eat... her nuts is the most recent. I'll find them hidden in the computer desk, in decorations on the table, even in her room behind a chair. Grammy bought the kiddos ornaments. Carol said to Addie, don't you just love Nora's ornament. Addie told her, "The birds would have been much better!" Little bit of sweetness she will look at Nora, and tell her oh you are the cutest thing I've ever seen, and then look at me & say isn't she mom.

Josh:
My favorite thing is (that I can't correct because it's too sweet) he will say, "mommy I want to hold you.
He loves to hide. If you are sitting on the couch he thinks it's time to hide. He is starting to tell me mom I pooped. However, he's not excited about sitting on the potty.  Josh loves holding Nora. He's obsessed with candy right now. If it is in sigh he thinks he needs it a lot of it non stop. YIKES!

Nora:
She pooped 3 times today... that never happens. 2 out of the 3 were blow outs. She loves to sit on my legs, & look at me. I put my legs up on the ottoman, and she will chatter with me. She also likes that position to get the gas off of her tummy. She will fart super loud, and a lot. Typically she poops 1 a day
 or every other day.

Tim:
Kings season has begun he's loving that. He took Josh, &; Addie to one preseason game. They both loved it. Josh wet all the way through his diaper. Good thing Tim listened to me... he wasn't going to take any diapers or wipes. Josh got new kings pants, shirt, and ball.

Nicole:
Trying to get a bit more fit. Started doing T-25 my body can feel it all over. Tomorrow I start a clean eating plan for November. Trying to be better organized. Realizing how quick time goes by, and wanting to make sure after a good message at stake conference I am choosing the best things for me and my family. I helped Addie decorate a feather of the things she is thankful for. Kids are so funny. We spent a lot of time she is very creative and loved every minute of it.

Halloween Night

The whole Family
We had a yummy dinner in a pumpkin at Emily's house
The children & the Pumpkins

They loved the whole night, and were super sweet. Josh was literally bouncing around like Tigger. He wanted to eat every treat right after he got it. Addie loved running around form house to house. We had done our full neighborhood sweep, and made a bathroom break for a little in our group. Once we got home Addie asked, "can I put my jammies on?" So she did. We passed out maybe 3 more treats. It was such a fun night. She decided to be witch. She thought most of the black had rubbed out of her hair now that it was night so she could be a pretty witch. Tim had the camera while we were trick-or-treating, and we got nothing. Hilarious! I LOVED halloween. The kids were so much fun!

Halloween Class Party

The kiddos started on the rug

Then they go could to all sorts of different centers
the sensory tub pick two things- she loved this

musical chairs - I was helping with this one
The teacher was holding some of their hands
So, I thought Addie might want to hold my hand.
She was not interested in doing that.

Snow White

Addie & Porter
This kids dad told me the day before Porter would like a play date with Addie
Porter told his dad Addie makes me laugh. Hilarious!
So, I look over & for this moment his leg was propped up on hers & they were just chatting away.
