Halloween Night

We had a yummy dinner in a pumpkin at Emily's house

They loved the whole night, and were super sweet. Josh was literally bouncing around like Tigger. He wanted to eat every treat right after he got it. Addie loved running around form house to house. We had done our full neighborhood sweep, and made a bathroom break for a little in our group. Once we got home Addie asked, "can I put my jammies on?" So she did. We passed out maybe 3 more treats. It was such a fun night. She decided to be witch. She thought most of the black had rubbed out of her hair now that it was night so she could be a pretty witch. Tim had the camera while we were trick-or-treating, and we got nothing. Hilarious! I LOVED halloween. The kids were so much fun!

Halloween Parade

The day started with the Halloween Parade at Addie's school.

I'm glad, but just funny for the glitzy fancy girl over at our house.

Trunk or Treat

It was hard to let her help, but she did such a nice job can you guess which side she did?

She had planned to be a witch. However, once I sprayed the hair black. She was very concerned she was going to be an UGLY witch,  and she wasn't having that. We quickly came up with this snow white costume. She kept saying this isn't a real costume. It was also really hard for me not to make her wear the costume I bought, but everything worked out great & I must say she made the CUTEST Snow White.

Addie kept taking off, & going to fast for the friend we had invited. 

She was doing it unintentionally leaving (going to fast) for her friend Rylie.

I had to get after her, & say stay with US.

Haunted House Decorating

The haunted house decorating was hilarious. Addie is really into cake making (cup cake wars & cake boss). So, before we start she tells me mom, "I am an expert at piping." We quickly had a lesson on being a beginner is totally okay. I am not sure she got it... actually I'm pretty sure she's still an expert in her mind. Love her!

Field Trip: The Pumpkin Farm Citrus Heights

She was more excited about riding the bus than the actual trip to the pumpkin patch.

After she went down this slide I lost her... it was scary. I had to help her friend kids were going in front of her. Addie went inside this hut & I couldn't find her. I was panicked, but found her quickly. She seemed scared. Hopefully she gets it that you stick together...don't WANDER off.

It was totally lame! Josh was so excited it was a bit of a let down.

 I think Addies favorite part was digging around making cakes in this old kind of yucky park.

She could dig all day & be happy!

I love apple season. We not only spent the day riding ponies, and going on hayrides. But when we got home the freezer was full of apple goodies. YUMMY! 

Bishops Pumpkin Farm

I love this time of year. This year at our annual spot Bishops Pumpkin Farm we took photos of the kiddos in their Halloween costumes. I took a lot more pictures than this, but these for some reason were all I had. I have no idea what happened. But we always have a ball when we go here. Josh LOVED the train ride. He didn't want to get off. I think they both liked seeing the pigs run. We stayed the whole day. Had some goodies to bring home, & discovered a new favorite an apple dumpling YUMMY!
