Happy Days

Quick updates: Josh: is getting lots of teeth currently his molars & eye teeth on the bottom are coming in poor guy is miserable for parts of the day, and will pinch bite and pull hair when his teeth hurt. However, most of the time he is the happiest smiliest little guy. He wakes up giving kisses. He always loves to play ball & loves music he hums & dances. Josh is starting to talk more & more. His manners are really cute always saying please & thank you. He's also learned love you. My favorite are his animal sounds (when he does the snake sound his facial expressions are priceless).

Addie: is full of energy. She loves pretending. She will ask me to keep Josh away so he doesn't ruin her pretending set-up she's created.  She is so funny... I will hear her jabbering back and forth with her dolls & figurines. She can be such a sweetheart saying the sweetest things. She also states clearly how she feels. The highs are high, and the lows are low. Mostly highs, but usually one way or the other. She warned her friends the other day about Josh told them to let her know if he was bitting or pinching them. She doing swimming & dance currently. She loves watching shows, but also loves being with friends. Always wanting to know if we have another playdate.

Nicole: I've been a big sicko being pregnant. Addie has been so sweet. She will bring me a towel, or pat my back. She really has looked out for me. I feel busy, but not sure I get much done. I am always wanting to make sure I am getting to the things that matter most. Feeling this little love moving around lots which is a really good thing. She's super active in the morning & evenings.

Tim: Is super busy at work... which is good. He is doing really well, and enjoying working for Bank of America. He has lots of long days, & now has an assistant because he reached the necessary goals... that has been a relief of the work load. He is the highlight of the kids days. There is nothing better than seeing how excited they both get when he gets home.

We are having a girl

She's due August 18th. We haven't decided on a name. We are thinking June, Olivia, or Nora. I don't need any opinions is that so rude Kennedy has also been in the running.  I have been so so so sick. I am just starting to feel better at 25 weeks now.  This little lady is a mover & kicker... which is a really good thing.

Considering our history it's always scary to tell everyone. However, after having a still birth there are unexpected things in life that catch you off guard that either take your breath away again, or just make you really really sad. It's always tricky because it can happen so unexpectedly. When this happens it takes you back to when it all happened, and it was hard to breath. So, I share this because we've had these photos for a while, and they were hard to post. It's also hard to admit why. We consider Savannah part of our family. So, when I'd planned to take these photos it wasn't until we went to take them that I thought oh wow this was a bad idea... as I labeled each chalk board I bought I teared up because I should've bought another one. We have four children. However, when I bought them I was in a hurry & just thinking about who would hold what chalk board. It's hard enough when others forget, but me how could I...sad to admit. However, I think I need to get back to that store & get another chalk board before I have this little baby so we have a correct photo. Not sure exactly how we will do it, but maybe I'll draw an angel for #2.  But for now we are having a little girl, and we couldn't be happier or feel more blessed.

Josh is 1!

Josh had a little buckaroo party. He was so funny while he ate his cake it was fun planning this little party. I can't believe he's one. He can walk, he loves to run. He is so funny he likes to watch the birds, and loves to be outside. He always wants to play ball, and my favorite he is almost always smiling. People always stop me to say how cute that little guy is. We sure love him.

Disneyland

Day 1: We drove the kids were pretty good for the trip. We arrived around 1:00 & met up with my sister & her kids. We went to downtown disney had some lunch. The kids played at this really fun leggo store, & Addie made a Minnie mouse build a bear & picked out an Arial outfit for it to wear. Everyone was exhausted. I am like a kid I was so excited. We woke up early the next day & met my sister's family in line to enter the park.
Mickey Mouse carmel apple covered in white chocolate! Delicious

This is our disneland trip. This post just needs to be posted sorry it's kind of backwards.

Day 2: super fun & funny first ride pirates second speedy train (forgot the name) that scared Addie, next the haunted mansion that was Tim's choice. We were laughing because it was kind of scary ones that we started out with.

Day 3: started out in cars land. that was a crazy experience. There were so many people. I have no photos of that. After we hit some more rides on CA adventure side. Then it was off to lunch with the princesses. Arial, Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, and Belle were all there. They each stopped at our table & chatted with Addie. She loved every minute of it. I took the worst photos. So many of my photos turned out blurry. We had such a great time. So many fun memories for the cousins. I still need to go through all the phone photos.

getting ready for fireworks & snow it even smelled like cinnamon after

gotta love it's a small world

What I love

Addie is 4, and right now one of her favorite things to do is to play store.
She organizes a bunch of toys, and then wants you to buy some.
Josh is going to be walking soon. He is really starting to stand in place. So fun to see him change.
I really enjoy each moment. It has been a busy 3 months since summer ended. I was teaching one period a day. My mom was a life saver watching the kiddos while I went to work. I've also had such great friends be so willing to help me since my mom left. I have a hard time leaving these littles so it's nice to know when I do they are in good hands. It will be nice to get into a routine. I feel like it will be easier to enjoy teaching & learning from my children... instead of the constant rush.

we found the perfect pumpkin & a butterfly ran into my child

my two favorite guys- let go dad needs all of those hairs on his head

We had a fun time at Bishops pumpkin patch today. We rode the train, had a small photo op of the kids in their costumes. Went to the petting zoo, had faces painted, jumped in the hay & enjoyed a hayride. THe funniest part of the day was when we sat down for lunch. I thought I could share my lunch with Josh.  He surprised us all by eating a enormous corn dog all by himself. He loved it. Just another beautiful fall day with the family. Tonight we went to boo a family, and Addie ran back to the house took back the bag because they were all her favorite things especially the bag.  She was determined as she was running down the street back to the house in the dark. Yikes! She was so excited, and then after decided it was too hard to give all of that stuff away.
