The Train Museum

Another fun spot we've never been before, and I wasn't sure how it would go over. In the beginning she was liking looking at all the big trains on the first level, but not totally into it. Then the top level there were interactive stations that lit up. She was into it a little more, and then we got to the toy train tables, and she was in heaven. There were two huge tables of trains to play with, and one you pushed buttons to make it go. Super fun for her to watch and crawl under and around this train. She had fun with her BFF Owen. She loves him.

Fairy Tale Town

Okay this place is so fun. They have different areas based on fairy tales. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, and not sure if it might not be fun for her age. I was sure wrong she had a great time. She loved seeing all the animals, climbing around the "cheese stands alone"and jack and the bean stalk, and the slide was also a favorite. I was so glad we went. It was so fun what a great memory it will be.

The Water Park

One of the joys of summer... the water  park.  Adeline goes wild she loves it there. She is so brave she want to walk right next to the big waterfall which is raging down fast. Then she loves the little river. I think it's because she loves to eat rocks, and the bottom of the river bed is made our of rocks. So, she spends time trying to pick them up. Lily wasn't too hot on the water park. I think she was a bit overwhelmed with all the people. However, they played so nicely together once we got back home.

Johnny Cash Concert

They have these concerts in the park, and they just happen to have a band playing all Johnny Cash. It was a real treat. A bunch of our friends were there too. We had a great time. I love summer nights.

Adeline is Standing

So she has been able to do this for a week or so, but it's hard to capture. I just can't believe how big she is getting. We are so excited for everything new that's is just around the corner.

9 Months

This month Adeline is now able to use the walker by herself. She likes to cruise around on the furniture all the time. She has bumps on her head because she gets a little off balance. One of her favorite things to do is to take all of the toys off her shelfs. Then once I put it all back she tares it down again; it's a little game she likes. She still loves books, and I still love finding her turning the pages, and babbling like she's reading. She loves her baths, and during them loves to stand up and push everything on the sides of the tub into the water. She also loves the water coming out of the faucet. She loves standing up next to the toilet. I think it's just the perfect height. She also likes to go through the trash. She has also been liking to do little growls. Tim calls her his little gremelin when she does this. She likes to blow raspberries it's usually on my arm, but she did it on my belly for a long time. She would do one, and then laugh. Probably one of my favorite things this month is now that Tim works much later she gets even more excited when he gets home. She squeals with delight to see him, and then they play around together and she loves it.

Day at the Pool

This sure beats the North Ogden Pool and Lorrin Far

She kept attacking this towel... it wasn't ours. She really liked it.

Today we went to the Folsom Aquatic Center with the extended family. Adeline was so brave. The pool has a beach entry. She just kept wanting to go further and further in. I am amazed at how small she is, and how curious and excited she is about new things. Best parts Parker going down the slide, and me trying to coax him to do it. Tanner kept coming and asking to give Addie a hug. Poor Jacob fell... walked back over to me to tell me all about it "I fell" and then he gave me a hug. My favorite is how obsessed Adeline was with the towel. I had a towel, but she just kept walking down to this one. Oh and she loved to keep crawling over to the drain (which was so gross). She was inspecting it, and everything in it. Fun Swim Day.

A day in the life

This is how she likes to sleep
Asleep again in the highchair
She's out like a light
This is what happens when I try to take pictures
Her checking out the celery
How I found her after I changed a load of laundry

She Climbs

Who knew... We were at my sisters and Adeline heads for the stairs. Keri says can she go up I say oh no way we don't even have any stairs. Then she proceeds to go up all the stairs. Hmm she knows how to do tricks I don't even know about.

The Fountains

Happy girlie having fun
Squinted eyes... with a crinkled brow
Tanner taking her back in for more
Crawling back in the water
What she looked like when we got home
We love the fountains... it is a fun water park at the outdoor mall. She loved crawling around inside the water. She got squirted in the face once, and then I held her hand as we walked around. Even after she got squirted in the face she still wanted to go back in and touch the ground where the water comes out. She was very curious about it. I think she's really brave the water was really powerful, and she wanted to be right in it. I left for a bit, and she did great for a while, but then got super sad. She just wanted her mom nothing was making her happy. My sister got a taste of what having four kids is like two that were crying for part of the time while I was gone. So any advice for the separation anxiety? She recovered, and then she played some more and loved watching the water show. She wanted to jump right in it. Fun times!

A walk in the Park

She's loving to stand up next to anything... especially at the park. She likes the ladders, and the pretend rock walls. She will pull herself up, and watch everything and everyone. She still loves that bark. She snuck one in, and then clenched her mouth closed so I had the hardest time getting it out. I don't know if all kids like to eat the bark or just mine yucky.
